Mmmm… cookies are good, huh? But the feeling after you eat one or two (or three), is not too great. I’m not saying it’s not okay to treat yourself every once in a while, but I promise that you’ll feel a whole lot better if you decide to exercise instead.

So, whenever you start getting those cookie or brownie cravings, EXERCISE!

You could:

  • Go for a run
  • Do some crunches
  • Do  some push-ups
  • Do some yoga
  • Play a fun sport with friends (such as basketball or football)
  • Lift weights
  • Take your dog for a walk (I’m sure he’ll enjoy it as well.)
  • Blast your favorite song and dance around the house (It’s quite the workout.)

If you’re crunched for time, there are thousands of workouts you can do in 10 minute or less! You could do these workouts before work or school, before bed, or during any spare time that you have! I especially like the Best Health workouts. They are great if you only have a few minutes to spare.

The longer you continue a routine of working out when you crave junk food, the less you’ll crave junk foods! After working out, you’ll feel stronger, healthier and happier!
